An exciting opportunity has become available for a Portfolio Business Partner to work with an innovative energy technology company in Central London has become available.
The role will suit an experienced Senior PMO Manager with a proven track record of delivery capability. assurance capability and stakeholder management.

The business is on a significant growth trajectory and the Portfolio Business Partner will play a critical role in enabling the company to achieve its strategic ambitions.
With an ever-increasing pace and evolving customer needs, the business needs to ensure that its product and change portfolio is delivered effectively and efficiently.
As a result, a new Enterprise Portfolio Management capability is being established to plan, monitor, report on and assure the delivery of all initiatives across the business.

The Role
The Enterprise Portfolio Management Office will be responsible for improving the strategic alignment and. value for money for the organisation's change portfolio and help to drive the transition of the business to a greater product mindset and outcome-based organisation.
The EPMO will also provide the objective of a "single source of truth" view for the portfolio delivery performance as well as the central custodian for information and knowledge management.

This is a hybrid working role with two days per week required in the office.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Planning the Portfolio Business Partner will work closely with the organisation's Directors and their teams to support functional activity planning and integrate such plans into an end-to-end enterprise planning process.
Provide oversight and assurance to drive delivery performance
Conduct monthly reviews and identify opportunities for improvement
Ensure compliance with the company's delivery methodologies
Keep accurate records of initiatives, projects and programmes on company systems
Provide delivery leads with guidance and. support to address issues
Early identification and proactive management of risks with mitigations
Identify and share of areas of delivery excellence to support an overall increase in capability across the organisation
Act as liaison between the EMMO functions ensuring that initiatives are managed and controlled to enable successful delivery
Facilitate cross functional engagement across all planning activities
Maintain an in-depth understating of all initiatives in their area of the portfolio
Ensure accurate reporting of the status of portfolio initiatives

Experience Required

Degree educated with a recognised PPM certification preferred, eg MoP, PRINCE2, MSP
Portfolio, Programme or Project Managment Expertise, with no less than 10 years experience
Experience working within the telecoms, utilities or other regulated sectors is desirable
Strong understanding of a range of managment methodologies and best practices
Demonstrable experience of operating in a business partnering capacity within a complex organisation
Significant practical experience in delivery of assurance for programmes and projects, with a working understanding of a 3LOD model.
Analytical mindset
Experience operating in a product driven and outcome based organisation
First class Stakeholder Management and communication skills are imperative to this role
Change Management, ability to influence, shape and drive improvement initiatives and lead and delivery change in a large, fast paced organisation
Proactive and resilient approach with high level self-motivation and aptitude to work well under pressure with a great deal of autonomy.
