Description
Intersect global have partnered with a leading Main contractor in their search for a Quantity Surveyor to join their established commercial team on a utility framework across the northeast. Primarily an office-based role, you may be expected to visit sites on occasion.
The Role
·Play a pivotal role in supporting the Commercial Team with contract applications.
·Managing subcontract accounts, including handling re-charges, retention, and final accounts with precision.
·Management of disputes and conduct thorough internal audits to ensure compliance and efficiency.
·Overseeing weekly valuations, confirming the accuracy of measurements, and ensuring financial integrity.
·Review and evaluate scheme works rigorously to ensure all targets are met and exceeded.
·Foster strong relationships with clients to effectively reduce 'Work In Progress' days and enhance collaboration
·Conduct in-depth analysis of weekly and monthly cost and revenue data to drive informed decision-making.
·Provide support to the Commercial Manager, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Due to the nature of the framework, our client is looking for someone with experience in managing high-volume, low-value projects and schemes.
A full and valid UK Driving Licence is also a requirement
